Reviews Policy

I review books, eateries, British experiences, and international travel, and I am currently happy to take review requests for all of these except international travel. Alongside these I also review products relating to each niche. I will provide honest reviews only, and will not stage a review in return for payment so please do not ask for this. If you have requested a review then I will not publish anything negative if it isn’t my cup of tea (or coffee), but rather email you privately as to why I feel that your book or business is not what I am looking for.

For authors and publishers, I am happy to review all genres – if you would like me to review a book for you then please email me at pagesplacesandplates@gmail.com with some details about the book including genre, a brief plot, and the deadline for the review. I am happy to review from paperback copies posted out to me or digital Kindle versions.

If you own a café, restaurant, gallery, or other experience in the UK then I am happy to take a visit to review your business or event – generally I am looking at experiences local to me in the Tendring, Colchester, Chelmsford and Ipswich areas, but there may be leeway for requests further afield. For eateries and experiences, please again email me at pagesplacesandplates@gmail.com stating what your business is, where it is located, and what you offer, as well as any deadlines.

For anyone who would like me to review a product I’d be happy to consider in return for the product being gifted (including shipping). Alongside a blog review I can offer social media promotion, Amazon reviews, and potentially a giveaway. Please email me at pagesplacesandplates@gmail.com and include the product details, gifting method, any deadlines, and anything specific you would like the review to include.

Please get in touch if you would like me to review anything of yours, and I look forward to reading or visiting!
